LAWTON — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a double fatality collision occurred on Sept. 26 at approximately 10:08 p.m. on SE 135th and SE Bishop Avenue, 5.5 miles east of Lawton in Comanche County.
Troopers report a 2000 Chevrolet pickup driven by Caden Rowe, 19, Lawton, was traveling west on SE Bishop Ave. and a 2017 Chevrolet Silvarado driven by Eric Gutierrez, 35, Lawton, was traveling southbound on SE 135th.
Troopers report Rowe failed to stop at a stop sign and hit Gutierrez’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in the southwest corner of the intersection and Rowe’s vehicle caught fire.
Troopers report Rowe was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in fair condition with a leg injury.
Gutierrez and his passenger Isaura Cabrera, 34, Lawton, were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel and transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Oklahoma City.
A juvenile passenger was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, and admitted in fair condition with arm and head injury.
A second juvenile passenger was transported by Comanche Memorial Ambulance to Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton, and then transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, and admitted in fair condition with trunk internal injury.

Condition of driver: Vehicle-1: Intoxicated Vehicle-2: Normal
Seatbelts: Under investigation
Airbags: Equipped and deployed Vehicle-2
Roadway: Dry
Weather: Clear
Pinned: Driver of Vehicle-2 approximately 3 1/2 hours
Investigated by Trooper Sheldon Glass No. 355 of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper Ben Smith No. 780 of Troop G and Trooper Jason Riddle No. 944 of the Traffic Homicide Unit. Also assisted Comanche County Sheriff's Department, Cox's Store Fire Department.
