Ringling resident injured


RINGLING — The Oklahoma Highway patrol reports that a personal injury collision occurred on Sept. 26 at approximately 9:26 a.m. on State Highway 89, five miles north Ringling in Jefferson County.


Troopers report a 2007 Harley Davidson driven by Jay Dale Herrington, 57, Ringling, was traveling west on Oklahoma 89 when for an unknown reason the bike rolled for unknown amount of times coming to rest in the east bound ditch.

Herrington was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, and later transported to Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in fair condition with head, arm, and hand injuries 

Condition of Driver Vehicle 1 - Apparently normal 

Cause of Collision- Unknown investigated by Trooper Carlin Neece No. 879 of the Jefferson County detachment of Troop G.
