Buffalo Resident Injured in Collision


BUFFALO — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a personal injury collision occurred on Sept. 12 at 10:16 p.m. on EW 12.5 east of NS 198, eight miles east of Buffalo in Harper County.

Troopers report Gary Hinther, 72, Buffalo, was westbound on EW 12 on a Polaris Ranger. Troopers say he was going to assist Kimberly Weder, Buffalo, whose 1997 Ford 350 pickup was broke down.

For an unknown reason Hinther struck the pickup head on. He was transported to Harper County Community Hospital in a private vehicle and admitted with head and leg injuries.

Cause of Collision - Under Investigation


Seatbelts- Equipped; Not in use by either

Weather - Clear, Dry

Roadway - 2 lane, Dirt

Pinned - None

Ejected - None

Helmet- None
