TULSA — A Tulsa resident was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at noon on Sept. 18 on I444 southbound, 200 feet south of Archer Street in the Tulsa city limits.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that Quinteisha Rice, 26, was driving at a high rate of speed in a 1999 Honda Accord when she failed to negotiate a left curve, departed the roadway, left and struck a metal guardrail.
Troopers report she was transported by EMSA to St. John Hospital in Tulsa where she was admitted in critical condition with trunk internal and trunk external injuries.
Troopers cite the cause of the accident at speeding.
Troopers Robbie Argo and Matthew Middleton investigated.
