COWETA — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a Porter resident is in stable condition following a one-vehicle accident that occurred at 7:59 p.m. Sept. 20 on 385th E. Ave. just south of 151st Street just southeast of Coweta in Wagoner County.
Troopers report Kimberly Slater, 65 was operating a 2015 Yamaha ATV southbound on 385th East Ave. when she departed the roadway to the right and rolled on to its side.
Slater was transported by Wagoner County EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa where she was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
Cause of Collision: Unsafe Speed
Roadway: Dry
Weather: Clear
Helmet: Not in use by Driver-1
Investigated by Trooper James Ritze No. 800 of the Wagoner County Detachment of Troop C. Assisted by Wagoner County Sheriff’s Department, Wagoner County EMS, and Coweta Fire Department.
