Inola Resident Critically Injured in Accident




INOLA — An Inola resident is listed in critical condition following a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Sept. 18 at 11:36 p.m. on S. 4220 Road just south of East 640 Road, four miles south of Inola in Rogers County.

Troopers report that Blake Rowe, 20, was driving a 2004 BMW north on 4220 Road and departed the roadway to the right, over corrected and departed the roadway to the left.

The vehicle then rolled and came to rest on the tires. Rowe was ejected.

Troopers report Rowe was airlifted to St. Francis in Tulsa where he is listed in critical condition with trunk internal and trunk external, head, arm and leg injuries.

Seatbelts: Equipped and not in use

Airbags:  Deployed

Weather: Clear

Roadway: Dry

Investigated by Trooper Garrett Watkins No. 906 of the Rogers County detachment of Troop B. Assisted by Trooper Andre Floyd No. 261. Also assisted by Pafford EMS, Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, Inola Police Department, and Inola Fire Department.
